NEIL's New Vice President - Specialty Underwriting

We are pleased to announce Scott Aiello as NEIL’s new Vice President of Specialty Underwriting.  Scott will oversee the Company’s Specialty business, report to Bruce Sassi, NEIL’s President and CEO, as a member of the Leadership Team, and be the NEIL executive liaison to the Specialty Insurance Advisory Council.

Scott comes to NEIL from Simply Business, where he was the VP of Commercial Strategy for over 6 years, executing their strategy and building out a competitive insurance product to compete alongside top small business insurers.  Prior to that, Scott was a Vice President and Product Manager at Liberty Mutual, overseeing the Industry Practices function with responsibility for setting product and underwriting strategy for targeted industries.  Scott has built a 25-year career with broad experience in Underwriting, Strategy, Reinsurance, Product and Financial roles.  

Scott holds a Bachelor’s from Ohio University and an MBA from Villanova University.  He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and in his spare time enjoys sporting clays, skiing, and home projects.
